A shoulder brace for dogs is an orthopedic aid used to stabilize the shoulder joint. By controlling movement, it supports the healing process and relieves stress on the affected structure. It is used, among other things, after surgery, for injuries such as ligament sprains or accidents, as well as for overuse injuries and chronic shoulder conditions. These include shoulder dislocations, biceps tendonitis, and congenital shoulder instability , which often manifests as unilateral lameness in the forelimb.
