M Xtrem is an extra-wide version of the M (equivalent to the width of the XL). We designed it at the request of customers for dogs that tend to be highly reactive (suddenly breaking out) and are very strong (e.g., small Ridgebacks (L), small Rottweilers (L), or slender Malinois (M)).

Please note: For most dogs in this size category, size M (25 mm wide) is perfectly adequate. Before choosing this size, please first take a reference object that is 3.8 cm high and hold it up to your dog. The band, including the metal parts, is almost as wide (approx. 4.5 cm) as a credit card (approx. 5.2 cm) is high. Ensure it is positioned high so that the dog's normal movement is not restricted.
